Description

Marchanda conica Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 1138. 1753.

"Habitat in Europae locis umbrosis, ripis elevatis." RCN: 8145.

Lectotype (Proskauer in Taxon 7: 126. 1958): [icon] "Hepatica vulgaris, major, vel officinarum Italiae" in Micheli, Nov. Pl. Gen.: 3, t. 2, f. 1. 1729 (see p. 656).

Current name: Conocephalum conicum (L.) Dumort. (Conocephalaceae).
