Description
Hedysarum crinitum Linnaeus, Systema Naturae, ed. 12, 2: 495; Mantissa Plantarum: 102. 1767.
"Habitat in India." RCN: 5543.
Lectotype (Dy Phon in Morat, Fl. Cambodge Laos Viêtnam 23: 115. 1987): [icon] " Hedysarum crinitum " in Burman, Fl. Indica: 169, t. 56. 1768 (see p. 115).
Current name: Uraria crinita (L.) Desv. (Fabaceae: Faboideae).
Note: Dy Phon & Adema (in Taxon 46: 471. 1997 designated 921.70 (LINN) as lectotype. However, Dy Phon (1987) had already designated Burman’s cited plate as type, and this earlier choice therefore has priority.
