Easy Cell shape with HK-Means protocol - graphical programming for Icy software
Description
This protocol (Publication ID: ICY-77638) allows Cell shape segmentation of fluorescent pictures thanks to the HK-Means method in a user friendly manner. It will create an overlay of the segmented results over your original picture as a ROI. The protocol can also be download here http://icy.bioimageanalysis.org/download-file/?id=77642
The full documentation with pictures and "how to step by step" is available in the pdf file : "Protocol Easy Cell shape with HK-Means Documentation.pdf". An online version of the documenation can be found here http://icy.bioimageanalysis.org/protocol/easy-cell-shape-with-hk-means/
The hk-mean plugin (Publication ID: ICY-V4N7Q1) used in this protocol is documented here : http://icy.bioimageanalysis.org/plugin/hk-means/ and is related to this paper : A. Dufour, V. Meas-Yedid, A. Grassart, and J.-C. Olivo-Marin, “Automated Quantification of Cell Endocytosis Using Active Contours and Wavelet”, Proc. ICPR 2008, Tampa, FL, USA.
