The paper presents the rationale, goals, methods, prototype tools and state-of-the-art results of WhoLoDancE (2016 - 2018), highlighting the added value of its interdisciplinary approach for dance learning and practice, the main technical, practical and cultural challenges faced during the project development and open issues to be addressed in the last months, with some hints on future research directions
