Poster presented at 9th annual Zwick Academia Day held in Sapienza University of Rome on 15th May 2018.

REACH regulations seek to eliminate chromates from European industrial processes. One of the products impacted are structural adhesive primers; vital to the space and aerospace sector for lightweight structures.

ENBIO aim to use our unique CoBlast technology to offer a green, REACH-compliant alternative. A range of materials were tested for adhesive lap shear strength both before and after accelerated ageing and salt-fog testing. Results were comparable with current state-of-the-art solutions.
