Abstract | Since water is the chief factor involved in the process of corrosion and, because it varies in character from place to place, experimental work must be carried out in localities representing different types of water across Canada. Because some of the factors involved in the corrosion of hot water tanks are embodied in their physical features and the condtions of operation, it was therefore agreed that no less than a complete tank installation should be considered a sample for test purposes. |
