Retraction note to: Lentivirus-Mediated Short-Hairpin RNA Targeting Protein Phosphatase 4 Regulatory Subunit 1 Inhibits Growth in Breast Cancer

The editors of Journal of Breast Cancer received a letter from an investigator raising concerns regarding this published paper. The investigator raised the possibility that the authors hadn't conducted the research. The editorial board asked for clarification of the allegations made to the authors, but did not received the appropriate response. The authors simply replied that the sequence of shRNA the negative control lentivirus had been written wrongly in the experiment report and affected the accuracy of the experimental results and may lead to the wrong conclusion.

Apart from the authors' request to withdraw their article, the editorial board decided that the answer to the suspicion was not sufficient.

Therefore, the entire article has been retracted in accordance with this journal's policy and Editorial decision.
