The Influence of Lateral Confinement in Prestressed Concrete Structure under the Effect of Pre-Applied Force

Article Preview

Abstract:

The author analyzed the effect of lateral confinement under the pre-applied force in prestressed concrete structure and analyzed the influence of lateral confinement under the equivalent load of pre-applied force and rotation angle by the matrix deflection method in prestressed frame beam, at the same time the formula for the influence modulus of lateral confinement in prestressed concrete structure was proposed. Based on the analysis of practical projects, it’s indicated that the modulus of lateral restraint decreased with the increase of pre-applied force, and this kind of influence was small, and was the advantageous influence. Thereby provided basis for rational design of lateral confinement for prestressed concrete structure.
