Experimental Study on Elastic Modulus of Combined Aggregate Concrete

Article Preview

Abstract:

Based on the test of 108 blocks with 150mm×150mm×300mm, 54 blocks with 150mm×150mm×150mm, elastic modulus of that of combined aggregate concrete is studied, and the influencing factors on it are discussed. The results show that the elastic modulus of combined aggregate concrete are very much affected by the ratio of common aggregate to lightweight aggregate, and it increases with the water-cement ratio decreasing. The calculation equation of combined concrete modulus is suggested.
