Abstract

Summary

Results of the individual isotropic 2D inversion of CSRMT and ERT data and their joint anisotropic 1D inversion in the study anisotropic media are considered. According to the individual isotropic inversion of ERT data, the thicknesses of anisotropic layers are significantly larger than from the borehole data. Resistivity section according to the individual isotropic inversion of CSRMT data is limited in depth. The joint anisotropic inversion using a newly developed algorithm and software ensures the information about horizontal and vertical resistivities and the coefficient of anisotropy of layers. Positions of contacts of different layers in the upper and deep parts of the resistivity section were successfully compared with borehole information.
