이 논문에서는 지금까지의 수행 결과를 바탕으로 하여 북한어 구어 자료 수집의 제약을 정리하고 이를 해결하기 위해 북한이탈주민 대상의 구술 조사에 대하여 개선 방안을 논의하고자 한다. 이 논의는 그간 수집한 104시간가량의 조사 결과를 바탕으로 한다. 온전한 우리말 연구를 위하여 북한어 구어 말뭉치를 구축해야 하는데, 가장 먼저 절실한 것은 구어를 담고 있는 원본 자료의 수집이다. 그런데 북한어를 담고 있는 자료의 수집에는 많은 제약이 따른다. 따라서 이 문제를 보완할 방안이 절실하다. 본고는 논의의 결과로 다음과 같은 사항을 밝힌다. 북한이탈주민을 대상으로 대규모로 언어 조사를 하고 이를 전사하여 유의미한 규모의 말뭉치를 구축하기 위해서는, 첫째 주어진 제약이나 선입견을 벗어나야 한다. 그러한 측면에서, 본고는 북한이탈주민 전입자의 동화 기간보다 중요한 변수가 심리적인 특징이라는 점을 강조한다. 북한어 구술 조사의 제약과 변수를 극복하기 위하여, 북한이탈주민을 조사자로 투입하는 방안이 효과적임을 밝힌다. 둘째, 북한어 구어 말뭉치 구축을 위해서, 북한이탈주민과의 적극적인 관계 형성도 필요하고 신뢰 기관의 적극적인 협조도 필요하다. 북한이 탈주민을 제보자로 하는 구술 조사는, 장기간의 지원 및 계획 아래 지속적으로 유대 관계를 형성하고 이를 기반으로 한 언어 조사와 음성 전사로 이루어져야 한다.

This paper summarizes the problems of collecting spoken language data of North Korean based on the experiences that have been conducted so far. Thus, we will discuss ways to improve oral investigation for North Korean defectors. This discussion is based on the 104-hour Voice recording that has been collected. In order to fully study Korean, a corpus of North Korean spoken language must be established. The first thing to do, however, is to collect the original material containing the spoken language. However, there are many restrictions on the collection of data containing North Korean language. Therefore, there is a need for a solution to this problem. This paper reveals the following as a result of the discussion. If you want to do a great deal of language research on North Korean defectors as informant and transcribe the results, so that you can build a valuable corpus, you need to: First, we must break away from the constraints and prejudices given. In that respect, this paper emphasizes that the more important variable than the period of assimilation of North Korean defectors is its psychological characteristics. In order to overcome the limitations and variables of North Korean oral investigation, it is effective to use North Korean defectors as investigators. Second, in order to build a corpus in North Korean spoken language, it is necessary to form an active relationship with North Korean defectors and to actively cooperate with trust agencies. In summary. Under long term support and planning, we must continue to build bonds. Based on this, language research and speech transcription should be done.
