SPOR KULÜPLERİNE ÜYE BİREYLERİN SPOR KULÜBÜ KAVRAMINA İLİŞKİN ALGILARININ BELİRLENMESİ: BİR METAFOR ANALİZİ ÇALIŞMASI

Öz

Bu araştırmanın amacı, spor kulüplerine üye bireylerin spor kulübü
kavramına ilişkin sahip oldukları algıları metaforlar yardımıyla belirlemektir.
Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu toplam 98 spor kulübü üyesi oluşturmuştur.
Araştırmada veri toplamak amacıyla katılımcılara spor kulübü kavramına ilişkin
sahip oldukları algılarını belirlemek için “metafor formu” hazırlanmıştır.
Metafor formunda katılımcılardan “Spor kulübü……gibidir; Çünkü..…” cümlesini
tamamlamaları istenmiştir. Araştırmada, nitel araştırma yaklaşımlarından
olgubilim deseni kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde ise; içerik analizi
tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma verilerinin analizinin güvenirliği için
katılımcılar arası güvenirlik kat sayısı hesaplanmış ve bu değer %94 olarak
bulunmuştur. Verilerin değerlendirilmesiyle, spor kulübü üyelerinin toplam 39
metafor ürettikleri görülmüştür. Üretilen bu metaforlar 6 farklı kategoride
toplanmıştır. Katılımcılar spor kulübü kavramına ilişkin en çok “çeşitlilik”
ve “eğitim” kategorisinde
metaforlar geliştirdikleri belirlenirken, bu kategorileri “sağlık”, “toplumsal
bütünleşme”, “sporun çekirdek örgütü” ve  “sosyalleşme”
kategorileri izlemiştir. Katılımcıların en fazla ürettiği metaforlar aile, ağaç, 
yuva, gökkuşağı ve arkadaşlık
şeklinde sıralanmıştır. Spor kulübü kavramı için canlı, cansız, soyut ve somut
metaforlar kullanılmıştır.
