Announcement of New Deputy Editor

We are pleased to announce that Ijin Joo, MD, PhD has been appointed as a new deputy editor for the Korean Journal of Radiology (KJR). Dr. Joo is an associate professor in the Department of Radiology at Seoul National University Hospital (SNUH) and Seoul National University College of Medicine. She graduated from Yonsei University College of Medicine in 2006. She completed her residency training in the Department of Radiology and fellowship training in Abdominal Radiology at SNUH. Since March 2013, she has worked as a faculty member, specializing in abdominal radiology, at SNUH. She has authored more than 140 scientific publications in peer-reviewed academic journals. Dr. Joo has served as an assistant to the editor for KJR (January–June, 2022). Moreover, she was an active reviewer for journals such as KJR, Radiology, and Liver Cancer. Her major clinical and research interests focus on hepatobiliary and pancreatic imaging and the clinical application of quantitative imaging.
