Abstract
Mammary-type myofibroblastoma is very rare, benign mesenchymal neoplasm that's composed of spindle-shaped cells with features of myofibroblasts, and these cells are embedded in a stroma with hyalinization. The most common location of the tumor is the inguinal area and to the best of our our knowledge, there has been no such case that this type of tumor has presented as a pelvic space mass. We report here on a very rare form of mammary-type myofibroblastoma and we include the ultrasound and CT images.
