A huge hepatic cyst successfully treated with absolute ethano: report of a case

Hepatic cyst seldom becomes symptomatic, but occasionally the cyst becomes large enough to be symptomatic.Aspiration alone has not been effective in preventing recurrence, and surgical correction submits the patient to considerable morbidity. Thyere have been a few reports of the symptomatic hepatic cysts successfully aspirated andtreated with alcohol. We report a cases of the huge symptomatic hepatic cyst successfully treated wtih absolute ethanol.
