Dear readers,

It has been brought to our attention that this article (http://content.iospress.com/articles/neurorehabilitation/nre856) had a number of errors, as well as methodological flaws that undermine the authors’ conclusions and bring into question the rigor of the review and meta-analysis. Based on the aforementioned concerns, reanalysis of the article, comments from readers and the authors’ response to said concerns, the editors have decided to retract the article based on apparent honest errors made by the article authors (Cha & Kim).
