Abstract

The results of determining the seroimmunological affiliation of African swine fever (ASF) virus isolates obtained in 2007–2009 in the Russian Federation as well as in Armenia and Abkhazia are given. It is established that these isolates belong to the ASF virus of serotype VIII and differ from isolates obtained in 1957–1980 in Europe and Latin America.
