Combined amelioration of soils of solonetz complexes in the Lower Volga region

Abstract

A technological procedure promoting improvement of the agrophysical and physicochemical properties has been developed for amelioration of solonetzes underlain by siliceous rocks. In the years after amelioration the gain in yield of potatoes was 22.7, onion 13.6, and grain corn 1.5 t/ha.
