Abstract

The discussion of coke quality and the optimization of batch composition by V.P. Lyalyuk, D.A. Kassim, I.A. Lyakhova, and V.P. Sokolova (Coke Chemistry, 2012, vol. 55, no. 12, pp. 448–452) is appraised. The scientific principles underlying the optimization of batch composition are considered.
