The design of the typological database of numeral-noun constructions (NNC database)

  • Published:
Automatic Documentation and Mathematical Linguistics Aims and scope

Abstract

This paper describes the design of a typological database of numeral-noun constructions (NNC-database). The purpose of the database is to summarize and document data on “cardinal number + noun” constructions in various languages. This database is intended to be an online tool for researchers so that they could not only obtain information about these constructions but also share their own data with colleagues.
