Description
Photograph of a view of a collapsing roof on a damaged building during World War I, ca.1916. The roof can be seen overhead and is in very bad shape. Part of the roof is sagging in the background at center, and many holes can be seen between the wooden rafters. A stone building can be seen at left, and much of the plaster is missing from its walls.
