Description
Photograph of the Bennett Wells sink near Death Valley during the days of the twenty mule team, [s.d.]. A dirt road is at center and heads into the distance at left. There are a few tire tracks in the dirt, but not many. The road is lined with an assortment of low desert brush. A tall windmill stands behind the bushes at right, and in the distance behind it is a range of steep mountains whose tops are shrouded by clouds. The twenty mule team was used to haul borax out of Death Valley in the 1880s.
