Description
Photographic portrait of Charles Crocker, taken from a book, ca.1900. Crocker is shown from his upper torso to his head and is looking to the right. He is wearing a dark jacket, dark tie, and light collared shirt. He has an extremely long and thick light-colored goatee, and he has short light hair parted at left. Crocker was instrumental in completing the Transcontinental Railroad. Photoprint reads: "J.P. and M.P.R.R., built S.P. and U.P.R.R.".
