근래에 점차 부각되고 있는 기본소득의 이슈는 현재의 국제 정치경제적 양상속에서만 논의될 것이 아니라, 첨단 과학기술의 발전에 따르는 미래의 국제 정치경제적 양상까지도 예측하면서 보다 거시적이며 미래지향적으로 논의되어야할 필요성이 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 관심을 가지고 4차 산업혁명 시대로 일컬어지는 현대 사회를 첨단 과학기술과 결탁한 신자유주의 사회로 간주하고, 이러한 사회에서 더욱 심각해져가는 빈익빈 부익부의 양극화 현상과 직업군 상실과 같은 사회 문제들을 해결할 수 있는 현실적 대안으로서 기본소득을 제시하며, 특별히 기본소득의 주요 입장과 일맥상통하는 기독교의 네 가지 입장을 선별하여 이들을 기본소득과 연결시킴으로써 기본소득의 필요성과 정당성을 사상적으로 지지하고자 한다.

The issue of basic income, which has been recently focused, is not only discussed within the current international political and economic aspects, but also needs to be discussed more macroscopically and more prospectively by predicting the future international political and economic aspects impacted by cutting- edge technologies. With this concern, this article regards modern society, which is put into the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, as a neoliberal society conspiring with advanced science and technology, and suggests basic income as an alternative to solve social problems such as the polarization of the rich and the poor, and the loss of current jobs. For this, this article seeks to support the necessity and legitimacy of basic income by selecting the four positions of Christianity which are in line with the main position of basic income and linking them with basic income.
