오늘날 학자들은 제4차 산업혁명이 인류에게 엄청난 혜택을 제공하는 이면에는 각종 윤리적인 문제들이 발생할 수 있다는 점을 지적한다. 특히 이들은 제4차 산업혁명시대에 더욱 가속화 될 것으로 예측되는 불평등의 문제를 지적하면서 공급과 관련된 노동과 생산 부분의 불균형으로 인해 빈부의 양극화가 심화되어 소외 현상이 가중되고 대중의 삶의 질이 오히려 낮아질 가능성에 대해 우려하고 있다. 교회가 세상에 대해 책임적인 역할을 감당하기 위해서 이러한 현실에 직면한 이들에게 기독교 사회생태윤리는 일종의 대안이 될 수 있다. 왜냐하면 생태학의 상호관계하며 상호의존 및 상호작용하는 생태계 시스템에 대한 이해를 창조 의식과 자각으로 사회구조적인 변화를 추구하는 기독교 사회생태윤리는 삼위일체의 관계성에서부터 출발한 기독교적이고도 창조적인 전망이라고 할 수 있기 때문이다. 또한 한국적 사회생태윤리의 구축을 통해 양극화나 소외의 문제들을 해결할 수 있는 의식의 전환을 이루어 한국 교회의 문제와 제4차 산업혁명시대의 윤리적 문제들을 함께 해결하기를 기대한다.

Human beings are living in the era of the fourth industrial revolution with the ability of dealing with and sharing huge amount of information and knowledge. Some scholars, however, point out that this revolution might produce some serious ethical problems. In particular, they worry about possible economic inequality and unfairness caused by imbalance between supply and production, which might deepen economic polarization and alienation that can result in lowering the quality of life. To play a more responsible role as Church in Korea, Christian socioecological ethics presents a reformative approach for people who are discouraged in the dim future. Christian socioecological ethics which pursuits structural change of a society with creation consciousness is awakened from ecological concepts of interrelatedness, interaction and interdependence. This paper overviews the notion of Christian socioecological ethics and explores how it is used as a tool for solving ethical problems in the fourth industrial revolution. This paper makes an attempt to propose an ethical alternative of fundamental change for creation consciousness and conduct. Improving of ecological sensitivity and interrelatedness developed by socio-ecolgical ethics will be a simultaneous solution for the crisis of Korean Church and society in the fourth industrial revolution.
