한국 기독교 공동체의 통일 내러티브는 교회 공동체와 기독 지성인 공동체라는 두 차원에서 접근할 수 있다. 통일 내러티브에 대한 기독교윤리의 평가는 다른 방식보다는 내러티브 윤리를 통해서 할 때 더 풍부한 이야기꺼리를 제공할 수 있을 것이다. 왜냐하면 내러티브 윤리는 교리적 경직성을 넘어서서 교회 공동체가 갖고 있는 이야기에 우선적 관심을 두는 윤리적 접근이라고 할 수 있고, 하버마스의 철학 등에서 볼 수 있듯 굳어진 이념이나 체계보다는 공동체의 상황을 반영하는 다양한 담론들이 진리를 확보할 수 있는 길을 갖게 되는 논의라 할 수 있기 때문이다. 즉 내러티브 윤리 개념과 접근은 매우 역동적인 스펙트럼을 갖고 있으며, 한국의 통일 문제를 위한 이론적 토대 마련에는 가장 적합한 이론적 배경을 제시할 수 있을 것으로 본다. 이를 통일 논의를 위한 이론적 토대로 재해석할 필요가 있다.

The narrative of unification Korea Christian community can be approached in two dimensions of the Church and the Christian intellectual community. The evaluation of Christian ethics for the unification narrative, however, will be able to provide richer episodes about unification through the scope of narrative ethics rather than other methods. To begin with, narrative ethics puts priority to the story that has a church community goes than the doctrinal rigidity. Secondly, it provides easier way to approach the truth through various discourses which re-flects the situation of communities rather than ideology or system as Harbermas has discussed about this. Thus, the concepts and approaches of narrative ethics does not only have the dynamic spectrum of unification stoires, but it is also able to suggest the appropriate theoretical background for the issue of unification of Korea. Furthermore, it is necessary to re-establish the theoretical basis for the unification in terms of narrative ethics.
