AB - Based on the previous research, this study analyzed the proportion of tourism industry in Chungbuk area and its impact on other industries in the region by using the 2010 regional industry linkage table published by the Bank of Korea. As a result, Chungbuk tourism industry has lower production inducement effect than all industries, but value added and employment inducement effect are above the average of all industries. This is because tourism industry is low in external dependency, but it also contributes to job creation due to intensive characteristics. In addition, tourism industry in Chungbuk is analyzed to be an industry that can play an important role in revitalizing the local economy because of the high front - chain effect. Although current study suggestes critical information for Chungcheongbuk-do tourism industry, this study can not properly reflect the trend of the tourism industry since the regional industry association table is published only until 2013.

초록
