本研究は2023年春学期に韓国·嶺南大学の日本語日本文学科で新たに開設した「デジタル日本学の理解」科目の運営と成果を分析した。この授業の主要な目標は、学生のデジタルリテラシーを向上させ、自己学習を促進し、デジタルツールを活用して協力スキルを向上させることにある。この授業を通じて、学生たちは基本的なスキルの習得にもかかわらず、多用なデジタルツールの使用に強い興味を示した。デジタルツールを利用して日本の人文学の知識を探求する経験そのものに、学生たちは非常に好意的であった。特筆すべき成果の一つは、メディアウィキプラットフォーム上でチームプロジェクトを作成するもので、日本に関連する時空間データ、人物データなど、さまざまな人文データを結びつけ、新しい情報を編纂したという経験である。これにより、従来の講義中心や教科書中心の線形的な情報の習得から、新たな情報の能動的な解釈と編纂に移行することが可能であった。ただし、この科目の日本学としての内容的一貫性と体系的な構成を点検する必要がある。そしてデジタル人文学ベースの科目として適切なデジタルツールが効果的に活用されたかどうかを評価することが将来の科目設計と授業における重要な課題である。

The course, Understanding Digital Japanese Studies, at Yeungnam University was examined in this study during the spring 2023 semester. The course objectives includeboosting students’ digital literacy, self-learning, and collaborative skills using digital tools. Students enthusiastically engaged with various digital tools, particularly in exploring the Japanese humanities. They achieved notable success with team projects on the MediaWiki platform by compiling diverse Japanese data. This approach has transitioned learning from traditional methods to active interpretation. However, the course structure and content consistency must be evaluated to determine the relevance of Japanese studies. Future courses should assess the effectiveness of digital tools for teaching the digital humanities.
