김정은 시대 북한의 정치사상교육 - ‘5대 교양’을 중심으로

2015년 신년사를 통해 김정은이 "5대 교양"(위대성교양, 김정일애국주의교양, 신념교양, 반제계급교양, 도덕교양)을 정치사상교육의 핵심 내용으로 천명하면서 최근 북한의 정치사상교육은 "5대 교양"의 형태로 기본 내용과 체계를 갖추어 나가고 있다. 물론 "5대 교양"에 포함되는 대부분의 내용들은 김일성 시대부터 북한의 정치사상교육에서 줄곧 다루고 있는 것들이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 최근 북한이 "5대 교양"을 통해서 기존의 정치사상교육을 시대와 교육환경의 변화에 맞게 개선하고 이를 통해 과거와는 차별화되는 김정은 시대의 정치사상교육을 실시해 보려는 시도가 나타나고 있다.
이에 본 논문은 북한에서 최근 강조하고 있는 "5대 교양"을 중심으로 김정은 시대 정치사상교육의 주요 내용과 특징을 살펴보고자 한다. 그리고 이를 기존의 정치사상교육과 비교해 봄으로써 향후 북한 정치사상교육의 전개 양상과 이로 인해 야기될 수 있는 북한 사회의 변화를 전망해 보고자 한다.

Through the New Year"s Day in 2015, Kim Jong Eun has described the ‘Five major ideological education" (Greatness education, Kim Jong Il patriotism education, belief education, anti-imperialist class education, moral education) as the core contents of political ideology education. It has been equipped with basic contents and system in the form of ‘Five major ideological education".
Of course, most of the contents included in the ‘Five major ideological education" have been covered by the political ideology education in North Korea since the Kim Il-sung era. Nevertheless, North Korea"s recent attempts to improve the existing education of political thought through ‘Five major ideological education" in order to meet the changes in the times and educational environment, and thus to provide the education of political thought in the Kim Jong Un era, which is different from the past.
Therefore, this thesis focuses on the main contents and characteristics of Kim Jung Eun"s political thought education centering on ‘Five major ideological education" which is emphasized recently by North Korea. I would like to examine the development of North Korean political thought education and the change of North Korean society that can be caused by this.
