| Abstract:
Two irrigation methods, basin and drip irrigation were tested on banana in 1983 and 1984. Water use efficiency of drip was higher and the system saved 50 % of irrigation water. Yield of drip irrigated plants was also higher. No significant differences were observed in soluble solids content of fruits, fruit volume or length. | |
