초록

본 연구의 주된 목적은 메타데이터 응용프로파일 설계에 필요한 분석 과정 방법론을 개발하고, 개발된 방법론에 따라 한국문화예술교육진흥원을 위한 총괄적인 메타데이터 응용프로파일을 설계하는 것이다. 분석과정은 기존 표준 메타데이터의 분석, 이용자 요구 분석, 콘텐트 분석으로 나뉘어 진행되었다. 각 과정을 수행하기 위한 방법론을 상세하게 기술하였으며 이와 함께 응용프로파일을 설계할 때 메타데이터 설계의 기본지침을 활용하였다. 이런 방법론을 문화예술교육진흥원 사례에 적용하고, 각 방법론이 메타데이터 요소 추출에 있어 어떤 역할을 하는지 논의하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 체계적인 메타데이터 응용프로파일 설계 방법론이 향후 다른 도메인 응용프로파일 설계의 지침서로 활용될 수 있기를 기대한다.
