Abstract: As one of the main professional courses for mineral resource engineering students, the specialty English of mining engineering plays an important role in improving students’ international vision and cross-cultural communication,competition and cooperation ability, and cultivating modern compound mining talents. This paper aims at the relevant problems existing in the current teaching process of specialty English of mining engineering, combined with the outcomesbased education teaching mode to carry out the practical reform of the course teaching content and teaching mode. It is of great significance to improve the teaching process of specialty English of mining engineering, improve the quality of student training, and cultivate international talents in uranium mining and processing.
