Abstract: Malaria is an acute febrile illness caused by Plasmodium. In Africa where the burden of malaria is extremely high,febrile symptoms caused by respiratory tract infections may challenge the diagnosis of malaria, and patients with unclear diagnosis and administration of antimalarial drugs require more attention. Hereby, a peacekeeper with Plasmodium falciparum infection complicated with bronchopneumonia was reported.
