Lamotrigine - Induced Intravascular Coagulation

Abstract

Two children, ages 3 and 11, who developed multiorgan dysfunction and disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) 9 days after the addition of lamotrigine to valproic acid anticonvulsant therapy are reported from the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada.
