Bladed wheels damage detection through Non-Harmonic Fourier Analysis improved algorithm
2017, Mechanical Systems and Signal ProcessingNon-Harmonic Fourier Analysis for bladed wheels damage detection
2015, Journal of Sound and VibrationCitation Excerpt :Digital Image Correlation can be used for such application, but high resolution measurement requires really expensive cameras and frequency limitation is always an issue even with high-speed cameras [16,17]. Many sensors are available for tip-timing techniques, but usually more than one sensor is needed for monitoring purposes, and the low precision of the passing time measurement is an issue with the simpler and cheaper systems [18–20]. Ref. [21] presents a tip-timing technique based on a single sensor measurement, but this method is more suitable for axial machinery.
