Abstract
The crystal structure of the title compound has been determined [space group P[unk], a = 16.766(1), b = 10.284(1) c = 10.887(1) Å, α = 94.02(1), β = 116.51(1), γ = 82.73(2)° V = 1666.2(1) Å3, Z = 2, Dx = 1.240 g/cm3, F(000) = 656, μ(CuKα) = 1.289 mm−1] and refined to R = 0.077 for 3837 unique observed reflections. The cyclooctene ring is distorted and the two radicals attached to it are in cis positions.
