Abstract
MacVector™, from Laboratory and Research Products, Eastman Chemical Company, New Haven CT, is an integrated comprehensive sequence analysis program. It provides the most commonly used nucleic acid and protein analyses, semiautomatic entry of sequence data from autoradiograms using the optional Gel Reader, and access to the floppy disk formats of the GenBank® nucleic acid database and the NBRF Protein Identification Resource protein database. The program runs on the Apple® Macintosh® computer and is designed to take advantage of the facilities offered by this platform.
