Abstract

Experimental results are presented which show that even though Kodak SD-19A developer can produce a substantial increase in the fractional gradient speed of typical, high speed, panchromatic negative films, this increase is not reflected in speed measurements based on a resolving power criterion, except at very low values of resolution.
