Optical Injection Locking based Carrier Recovery for Coherent Signal Reception

Abstract

We use optical injection locking for carrier recovery in carrier-assisted coherent OFDM. A robust narrow-bandwidth locking with slow phase lock loop is discussed. Simplified DSP and improved performance with respect to intradyne detection is demonstrated.
