Abstract: The influence of altimetry errors on marine geopotential recovery is studied,and the formulae for the altimetry stochastic errors transmission during the marine gravity anomalies recovery are presented.In the end,the predicted geopotential errors with several resolutions from 2cm and 8cm altimetry random errors are quantitative analysed,respectively.The results can propose some references for the Chinese altimetry satellite design in the future.
