Abstract: Mycobacterium phlei, a kind of non-pathogenic bacteria, belongs to actinomycetes branch and is a potential immunomodulatory agent. In this paper, we review the culture characteristics, the object of immune adjust,mode of action, determination and extraction of the active ingredients as well as immune mechanism of Mycobacterium phlei.
