Abstract: With the increasingly fierce competition and the decline of the overall industry profitability in the steel market,it has become the focus of field technical research to save energy without affecting the quality of products. To meet the needs of cold-rolled production and improve the competitiveness of products,the mechanical and technological characters of cold rolling unit should be fully considered. On the basis of building a set of power consumption model per ton of steel and analyzing the factors,the study,starting from the comprehensive optimization setting of rolling schedule,emulsion flow and rolling speed,proposed a set of comprehensive control technology of benefits per ton of steel during cold rolling,aiming to reduce the power consumption per ton of steel,meanwhile taking the maximum of rolling pressure,rolling power and emulsion flow,the prevention and control of slipping and hot sliding,the comprehensive cost of emulsion,and the benefits of production capacity into account. After the application in production,without the addition of emulsion consumption per ton of steel and the decline of production capacity,the average power consumption per ton of steel has dropped by 7.53%,which has improved economic benefits for the unit. The control technology has further popularization and application value.
