Abstract: Objective: To investigate the relationship between acute cerebral infarction TCM syndrome and related biological index. To elucidate the relationship between syndromes and diseases from microcosmic angle. Methods: The levels of serum vWF and PAO were measured by ELISA in 90 cases of acute cerebral infarction with in a acute stage and 15 healthy control subjects. Results: The levels of vWF and PAO in serum in stroke group were significant higher than that in control group( P < 0. 01). Conclusion: The levels of vWF and PAO in serum contribute to the assessment of stroke and can be used as the objective indexes for the syndrome differentiation typing.
