DESIGNING TEACHERS’S PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIES IN THE CONDITIONS OF DIGITALIZATION OF EDUCATION (FOREIGN EXPERIENCE ANALYSIS)

Abstract (English):
The National systems of teacher’s professional growth play a special role in modern world education. At the stage of development of society, the teacher’s level of professional competencies directly affects the development of both the younger generation and the education system a whole. For the national systems of teacher’s professional growth to be constantly improved, and one of the main participants – the teacher – develops, it is important to choose strategies aimed at successful development. The article presents the experience of such foreign countries as Finland, Norway, and Latvia designing strategies for the teachers’ professional development in the context of digitalization of education. The authors of the article propose an analysis of modern international models of teacher’s professional growth as an opportunity to consider their advantages and disadvantages for designing similar domestic models.
