ABSTRACT
Skin cancer is the commonest form of cancer in the UK. Although each cell type in the skin can give rise to a different type of cancer, it is convenient to classify skin cancer broadly into non-melanoma skin cancers (NMSC) and malignant melanoma (MM). Secondary deposits from other cancers can also present in the skin.
