论政治话语外宣翻译取向的二元统一 |

| 摘 要： 中国政治话语外宣翻译研究对于加强我国对外话语体系建设、构建融通中外的中国特色话语体系有着重要的意义。目前，政治话语外宣翻译研究中还存在着该使用“以我为准”的翻译取向还是应采用“以目的语为取向”的翻译取向之争。在系统分析相关领域的重要研究文献和我国权威机构的政治话语英译实践的基础上，指出了两种翻译取向在政治话语外宣翻译中均有着重要的应用价值，可以二元统一：在进行语言表达层面的翻译时，侧重目的语取向，保证译文的地道性和对外宣传的效果；在进行文化层面和政治层面的翻译时，则侧重“以我为准”的取向，从而实现译文的文化传播功能，保证译文的政治准确性。 |

Chinese-English translation of political discourse for global communication: Unity of two translation orientations |

| Abstract: Chinese-English translation of political discourse for global communication is of great significance in developing our international discourse system and constructing the international discourse system with Chinese characteristics. At present, there remains a dispute over adopting Chinese-oriented or target language-oriented strategies in political discourse translation. By analyzing systematically the important research data and translation practice of some political discourses provided by Chinese authoritative organizations, the present essay points out that both of the two translation orientations have huge potentials in improving Chinese-English translation of political discourse for global communication and that they can co-exist in the translation practice: target language-oriented strategies should be adopted when trying to make the English version smooth and natural, thus ensuring its international communication effects, while Chinese-oriented strategies should be applied when translating cultural and political elements in order to realize the functions of cultural transmission of the English version and provide a politically sound version. |
