Abstract
This manuscript is based on a presentation I gave at the 211th ECS Meeting (Chicago) in May 2007. It is a brief summary of our effort in the study of transition metal complexes with DNA/RNA-wrapped carbon nanotubes. I provide two examples to illustrate the rich chemistry between the two classes of molecules that is yet to be fully explored. These types of chemistry are of both fundamental scientific interest and technological importance.
