Contemporary Problems of Ecology Aims and scope

Abstract

The effect of temperature and soil contamination by fluorides on the early stages of the growth and development of narrowleaf hawksbeard plants from polluted and nonpolluted habitats has been studied. The character and degree of manifestation of the combined effects of pollution and temperature, as well as the variations in the direction of response depending on temperature, a measured parameters, and the origin of population are shown. In the populations of polluted habitats, the alteration of phenotypic plasticity in relation to temperature is revealed.
