Technical Physics Letters Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Abstract

Expressions for the characteristic frequency and free energy and the generalized equation of state for a solid possessing a fixed fractal structure are obtained within the framework of the Debye model. The equation of state involves the Grüneisen parameter. Conditions under which the fractal structure of solids is significant are discussed.
