Abstract
The monotypic Rigattoptera ornellasae n. g. n. sp. is a new fossil pterygote insect from the Pallero Member of the Carboniferous Bajo de Velis Formation of Argentina. It represents a new family, Rigattopteridae, of the “Protorthoptera”.
Kurzfassung
Die monotypische Rigattoptera ornellasae n. g. n. sp. ist ein neues pterygotes Insekt aus dem Pallero-Member der karbonischen Bajo-de-Velis-Formation in Argentinien. Sie repräsentiert eine neue Familie, Rigattopteridae, der “Protorthoptera”.
